NVTC Golf Tournament to Benefit the Equal Footing Foundation
On October 1, 2012, the Northern Virginia Technology Council will host their annual golf tournament to benefit the Equal Footing Foundation. This caddie-only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course has been rated one of the top private clubs in the nation! Sponsorships for the tournament are available now and benefit the Equal Footing Foundation. Sponsorship opportunities include: Tournament Sponsor, Club Sponsor, Beverage Sponsor, Mulligan Sponsor, Closest to the Pin Sponsor, Longest Drive Sponsor, Putting Green Sponsor, Gift Sponsor and Hole Sponsors.

Botball 2012
The Botball Educational Robotics Program engages middle and high school aged students in a team-oriented robotics competition based on national science education standards. By designing, building, programming, and documenting robots, students use science, engineering, technology, math, and writing skills in a hands-on project that reinforces their learning. On Saturday, April 21 the Greater DC Tournament will be held at WT Woodson High School.

USA Science & Engineering Festival
The Inaugural USA Science & Engineering Festival, hosted by Lockheed Martin, will be the country’s first national science festival and will descend on the Washington, D.C. area in the Fall of 2010. The Festival promises to be the ultimate multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-disciplinary celebration of science in the United States.
